Our Village is our world. It’s where we call home, where we raise families, where we meet each other and where we introduce us, to the world outside our borders. And while we know and appreciate each other and the community we create, first impressions matter.
Whether it’s Village signage, street and sidewalk quality, or the condition of our public spaces we need to improve our physical world.
A renewed commitment to accessibility for all, the inclusion of public spaces and their design in our definition of top-quality services along with the creation of a public art program are steps we should take toward an increasingly appealing community that remains attractive to new residents and businesses over the long term and prioritizes pedestrians safety over traffic volume.
